The Frithmy reckon twelve moons to the year. For use with Fedmar's weather system and inspired a bit by Michael's downtime calendar.

A + means to roll that weather axis with advantage; - with disadvantage. If you roll doubles, increment by two. Each month is a literal 28-day moon cycle with transition between moons at new moon. The winter solstice is most often during Stolen Moon if that month occurs and Still Moon otherwise.

  1. Still Moon. -wind, -cloud, -heat. Stay with a family this month to be considered cousins forever.
  2. Tempest Moon. +wind, +cloud, -heat. Proactively stay home this moon to avoid bad luck.
  3. Leviathan Moon. +wind, -cloud. Busy time for ports; spend the month at one and you're guaranteed to come across whatever Type of Guy you need.
  4. Marcher's Moon. -wind, +cloud. Get downtime benefits even if you are hoofing it.
  5. Mother's Moon. +wind. The male principle pays its tribute to the female: ideal time to try for a baby, mandatory time to sow summer crops. Can always find work.
  6. Widower's Moon. -wind, +cloud, +heat. If someone received a proper first burial before this month last year and you practiced proper mourning up through the end of this, give them a proper secondary burial and get double "carousing" benefits.
  7. Marching Moon. +heat. Benefit from appropriate downtime actions whilst out in the wilderness.
  8. Scourging Moon. -wind, -cloud, +heat. Spend the month in prayer and work to make internal progress.
  9. **Harvest Moon. -wind, +cloud. Can always find work. Participate in the harvest in any given village to be considered eligible for hospitality through rest of the year.
  10. Lover's Moon. +wind, +cloud. Seeking to impress someone? They'll notice. (Another matter if they are, in fact, impressed.) Stereotypically for amorous pursuits but not limited to such.
  11. Watcher's Moon. +wind, -cloud. At beginning of month; ask the stars a yes-or-no question, consult with either a star-wise Moon Woman or star-wise Sun Woman to tell you which signs to look for. 2-in-6 chances the Watcher's Moon is heavy with comets. If comets, 4-in-6 chance the Sun Woman's advice gives you a correct answer (GM rolls secretly); likewise a Moon Woman if light in comets.
  12. Drunkard's Moon. +cloud, -heat. Double carousing benefits.
  13. Stolen Moon. -wind, +cloud, -heat. Intercalary; appears only if Watcher's Moon is comet-heavy. The greatest magical rituals can only be performed over the course of this month.
